Bill Inn keeps the running tab for every room, bed and table in your guesthouse. Three taps per order. Bills on WhatsApp. No signal required.

MORNING SERVICE · PARVATI VALLEY, HIMACHAL
This is everything Bill Inn does, told as one stay. Keep an eye on the tab in the corner: it runs while you read.
A notebook works, until the cook forgets a maggi, a page gets tea-stained, a guest argues at 6am with a cab waiting. Bill Inn is the same notebook, just one that remembers everything.
The notebook is honest work. It just forgets things. This one doesn't.
Everything happens in the one app every guest already has open, and every cook already knows how to use. No logins, no OTPs, no installs.
Itemized, pay-by-UPI, with your name on top. Guests don't have to think about a "platform."
Cook gets a structured WhatsApp to the kitchen group. No shouting across the courtyard.
Next time Priya books, you already know she avoids onion-garlic. Send a pre-arrival namaste in two taps.
The Parvati doesn't care about your 4G plan. Neither does Bill Inn. Every order, check-in, and bill is saved on the phone first. If the bars come back at 3am, everything catches up quietly.
I never ran a guesthouse. I was the other side of the notebook: the guest who kept coming back to these valleys, stayed a week longer than planned, and learned the names of three generations of one family in Kalga before learning any trek route.
What I remember from those houses is not the view. It is the 6am chai. The dog asleep across the kitchen doorway. And always, by the till, a notebook fat with rubber bands, holding every chai and maggi and bed-night of the season.
I watched hosts I admire lose money to that notebook, and lose the argument at checkout even when they were right. So I built them a notebook that cannot forget. It was written in the houses it is for, on the same one bar of signal, and it has one rule: if it is ever slower than the pen, it is wrong.
No tiers. No "enterprise" version. No surprise bill at year-end. You pay one flat price, and that's it.
Bill Inn is spending its first season behind the counters of homestays and cafes in the Parvati Valley. The owners are still deciding what they think. When they tell us, their words go here. Not before.
